ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My passion to create has fueled my desire to bring the art of Pencil Drawings to life! Over the years, and through much trial and error, I have finally developed a one-of-a-kind technique which blends and manipulates the graphite in regular drawing pencils in such a way that makes my drawings appear completely life-like!
Each piece is done on smooth un-textured bright white paper, various sizes. This solid brilliant background accentuates the contrast of the drawing giving it a most 3 Dimensional effect in a 2 Dimensional medium. Also, the smooth texture of the paper allows for my special blending and shading techniques which help to enhance this fine art.
I draw Completely and Totally Freehand. No Tracing, Tools, Grids, Machines, Molds, Computers, Guides, or Gadgets are used to create my original masterpieces. And no charcoal, paint, or airbrush is used to achieve their realistic quality.
At times I may use a soft, special blend of colored chalk pastels, or colored pencils - along with the graphite pencils - in order to achieve the right essence for the pieces which do have color, but the technique is still totally freehand. My favorite work is done, however, in the black, white, and gray medium.
I can draw from photos, snap shots, or scanned pictures, live poses, models, or even intangible description. My favorite piece to do is the portrait. I love to draw People’s Faces. I attain a sheer sense of fulfillment bringing a beautiful face to life. I especially love the Eyes ... they are the windows to the soul and the mirrors to the heart.
Though I can draw any adult or child’s portrait, male or female, my ability is not only limited to the human face. Wild Animals, your Favorite Pet, Exotic Creatures, I can draw anything or anybody. And I especially enjoy the aesthetic shape and beauty of the entire human body as well. Full Body Portraits, Dynamic Athletic poses, Superheroes in action, Cartoon Characters and Comic strips are all part of my entourage. I can even put your face on another figure or Super Fantasy Pose. Any Custom Drawing is possible with my art.
Landscapes, Skylines, inanimate objects and even graphic fonts are absolutely no problem with my technique.
I can draw any texture of clothing, any fabric, any hair style or skin tone. Any simple or elaborate idea that a person can conjure, I will be able to bring to life.
I can create unique Collages, Poster ideas, Album Covers, Caricatures, or even Tattoo Stencils and T-Shirt designs, you name it. I can even design Book Covers, Business Cards, Flyers, and Brochures if Marketing, Advertising or Exposure is your goal.
Logo development is another of my specialties. If you plan on starting your own business, I will create the perfect logo for you.
In addition, if you have an old, worn photograph that has sentimental value, I can “Refurbish” the memory by drawing that photo exactly as it was originally, in any size you desire.
Any kind of Illustration or idea can be created with my technique. Having studied Engineering, any Model, Invention idea, Machine Part, or Technical drawing can be created in my “TIRIJE” studio as well. The Images in your mind will come to life!
